Motorcycle Gauges, Speedometers & Instrument Parts — Page 5
Speedometers, tachometers, combination gauges, temperature and voltage gauges, senders, speedo drives, cables, and mounting hardware. Instruments fail in undramatic ways — a wavering needle, a dead odometer, a speedo that reads optimistic after a gearing change.
Match the sender to the gauge: mechanical speedos need the right drive ratio, electronic ones the right pulse count, which is why gauges and senders are best bought as matched kits. If you changed sprocket sizes, a speedo recalibrator fixes the reading cheaper than a new gauge. Voltage gauges are underrated — they show a charging problem before it strands you — and on air-cooled engines an oil-temperature gauge is the honest health readout a stock dash never gives you.
