• Transactional email — order confirmations, shipping and tracking updates, return decisions, and similar service messages.

• Marketing email only if you opt in — and you can unsubscribe at any time.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with the service providers needed to run the store, and only what each needs:

• Stripe — payment processing, fraud prevention, and sales tax calculation.
• Our parts distributor — your name and shipping address, so orders can ship to you directly from a distribution warehouse.
• Shipping carriers (UPS, FedEx) — name, address, and tracking contact details for delivery.
• Infrastructure providers — Amazon Web Services (email delivery, image hosting), Vercel and Cloudflare (website hosting and delivery).

We do notsell or rent your personal information, and we don't share it with third parties for their own advertising. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and customers.

Cookies and local storage

• Session cookie — keeps you signed in. Essential; set when you log in.
• Ride cookie (chop_ride) — remembers the bike you selected so the catalog filters to parts that fit it. Kept for up to one year; cleared when you clear your ride.
• Local storage — your guest cart, applied promo code, and display preferences, stored in your own browser.

We don't use cross-site tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or third-party analytics.

Retention

Order and payment records are kept as long as needed for tax, accounting, and warranty purposes. Account information is kept until you ask us to delete your account.

Your choices and rights

• You can view and update your account details and addresses in your account settings.
• You can contact us to request a copy of your personal information, correct it, or delete your account (we may need to keep order records required by law).
• Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state's privacy laws; we honor verified requests consistent with those laws.

Security

All traffic to greasemoto.com is encrypted with HTTPS, payment details are handled by Stripe, and access to customer data is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password for your account.

Children

Our store isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them.
